Description
The lawman is a relatively new inhabitant of Myrkentown, having moved to the town the fall of 214 and applying for employment with the Constabulary. He is a charismatic sort, suave and flirtacious, and very equal-opportunity about who he flirts with, with no regards to sex or race. His long blonde hair is usually pulled back in a ponytail, and the man is often dressed comfortably in a leather jerkin, breeches and boots; he does not wear a Constable's uniform, but his badge is pinned to his shirt, over his heart beneath the left breast of his jerkin. The lawman's face has been described as 'foxy', due to a combination of his charming personality, long nose and a chin that has scruff a couple shades darker than his hair.
He is the clever sort, remembering much of what is told to him, and he plays fair with his informants, earning trust from a variety of disreputables as well as the confidence from the higher castes. Perilat has a knack for 'playing it dumb' if he has to to avoid unnecessary confrontations if need be.
Background
Perilat was born in Collingford to Constable Bramwell and Helene Davinledge. He is the middle child, with two older brothers (Oweyn and Mikael) and a younger brother (Thomlin) and sister (Charlotte). His father has recently retired after more than forty years as a Constable in Collingford, where his elder two brothers also work in the field, while his younger brother broke with the tradition and left the law field in exchange for attending the University and studying the amazing architecture of the city, and his baby sister (nearly fifteen years his junior) also attended the University.
Whatever reasons that Perilat had for leaving the thriving city of Collingford for the dark Myrkentown is unknown, but simply that he showed up on day with a high-strung white horse and all his belongings in tow and has not left since.

Perilat can be found on the occassion at the Broken Dagger when he is off duty, drinking whiskey and engaging folk in lively conversation. He can also be found at the Dagger when he is not there to engage in lively conversation, but to investigate wrongdoings.

The Constable is a current Detective in Myrkentown.
