As much of a fixture within the Broken Dagger as one of the numerous tables or chairs that littered the common room, the young chambermaid was easily overlooked. The daughter of Agnes, who'd been employed within the inn for more years than most could accurately recount, Lenore had been birthed within those very walls...room #7 to be exact.

As a babe, she'd been unnaturally quiet, never once loosing a cry, even when hunger overcame her. Growing into a curious toddler, many thought her to be mute, for childish babble never fell forth from her lips. Springs turned to summers, autumns gave way to many a winter's icy chill, and the girl grew steadily, blossoming into a young woman. Soft spoken words were spent only upon her aging mother.

When Agnes closed her eyes and entered that eternal rest, Lenore still did not weep, though intense eyes could not hide the well of pain she felt. Taking over her mother's duties, sorrows were drowned within her work--and nary a speck of dust nor dirt could be found within the rooms to be let upstairs.

Two years since her mother's passing, now at the age of seventeen, Lenore still says little...and those few words are saved for the Dagger's proprietor, Raegan. So, when frequenting the inn, do feel free to greet the young woman, for she is friendly enough...but be not offended if she only lends a small smile.
