Commonly hailed as one of Myrken Wood's wealthiest men (although certainly not its most honest), D'Ivrie had the poor fortune to be declared vote-counter, when the territory was undergoing new elections in 203 AR. Myrkenfolk being occasionally stricken with a love for tradition, this soon became habit, and unfortunate D'Ivrie has served in this capacity ever since.
