Wealdhold

The Wealdhold is a small colony of shacks, limited-production farms, and tent-clusters that pockmark the lands immediately east of the Golben Pit. This minute settlement reaches into the East Weald, taking advantage of the shelter of forest for those without permanent residence. Having been only recently acknowledged by passing traders and merchants, the Wealdhold is tentatively named for its nuclear structure: the Look, a derelict workers'-quarter left abandoned after reparations of the Golben Pit had ceased. As an unsanctioned settlement, no estimation of the colony's population is currently available. The Wealdhold is located approximately thirteen miles northwest of Myrkentown.

History
