Herford's Tavern

Description

Herford's Tavern, dating back to A. R. 30, is one of the oldest standing buildings in Westenford, Amasynia, located a short walk away from the town plaza where the Westenford Ruling Council meets up to twice daily. The building is large and its interior copious to provide room for the twenty-nine Councilors who have made it their daily ritual to adjourn business and relocate to the dining hall of the tavern afterward. Since its foundation, the building has stayed in the hands of the Herford family except for a brief time when Aloisius Treadwell bought the inn for his eldest daughter, Babette, to run. With Babette's leaving town against her father's wishes, he promptly sold the Tavern back to the Herford family, returning it to its original ownership.
