Description
“Well meaning and precocious, underestimated and determined, she sticks her neck out into the face of danger, red hair obscuring her vision but her heart guiding her way.” - Matt

To meet Genny is to encounter a mid-twenty year old woman who is plain, pretty on occasion, and generally polite. However, she is not easily overlooked; with her excessive height and the brilliant hue of her long, red hair, it’s simply impossible to blend in with a crowd. She is almost ungainly in the lean length of her limbs.

More subtle details include the the delicate freckles dusted over the bridge of her nose and the stains of ink speckling her left hand, which stand stark against her pale complexion. Only the truly observant or a long-time friend would notice the white scars that line her wrist.

While her attempts to be ladylike are valiant, her clumsiness and lack of balance often betray her as much as her stubborn demeanor. Although her clothes are well made, and of finer fabrics, they’re usually subdued in color. Tailored, floor length and fitted, her dresses are almost military in their rigid appearance, and sometimes worn with a sash or a tied belt of black fabric.

Background
Myrken townsfolk being wary and having a general dislike for their geographic neighbors, it is widely known and fairly obvious that Genny is from Thessilane.

There are a precious few that know her well, and fewer still that know her history precisely. To get the jist there is plenty of fairly reliable gossip, a Nosey Nellie will say, "I think she's the daughter of a noble mother, a hobbyist herbalist or was it a baker? She made pies, I think. Yes. And her father was a physician, one of the best - he served the Duke in Thessilane. They both died in the destruction of Orvere. No. Only her mother did, her father was some time later - after she had already come to Myrken. She has a bother, or two. Maybe it was six? One of them is a doctor too, Bradford, I think? Like his father, he serves Lady Lamai Carver and her husband Christoph in Thessilane. But Tennant, her twin, he’s the famous one - or infamous I suppose. The thief! Everyone knows she despises him."

Timeline
207 AR - To pay for her room, Genny joins the staff of the Broken Dagger. It took only several hours of spilled drinks before she was sent to the kitchen as a cook, where she excells as a pie-maker. Her hard work and harsh words for anyone causing trouble made her fast friends with the barmaid, Dulcie.

208 AR - Times become turbulent in Myrken Wood, friends begin to die or become injured. A letter from home is received and Genny leaves for Thessilane.

211 AR - Genny returns to Myrken Wood from Thessilane, encountering the ‘bodyguard’ Giuseppe on the porch of the Dagger. Immediately she sets to arguing with Glenn, offending his hired hand, and somehow, subsequently obtained a job working for Aloisius Treadwell.

Genny meets and befriends several Dagger regulars, Catch, Winifred, and Descant with whom she helps to plan the Grand Ball (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3590). At the ball she met Lamai’s handsome guard, James, with whom she would have a relationship for several years after.

Genny researches The Blight, which is destroying the forest, and in searching for a cure makes a bargain with the druid Lilani to help restore the woods, ground water, and crops. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3654&start=15)

The tax vault is broken into, all of Myrken’s gold stolen, as is it’s Tax Collector, Treadwell. After linking a poison found at the crime scene to her brother, Genny joins the manhunt to find him. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=3615) A bandit camp is found, while some get away she does manage to capture her brother, punch, and arrest him. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3618)

212 AR - After Glenn’s inauguration into Governorship Genny was assigned to the newly formed Inquisitory, working with Aleksei River investigating strange happenings and keeping tabs on some of Myrken’s more dangerous elements. Asked to work with Cinnabar Calomel she began a long research project to determine how best to handle Catch and the danger he posed to the town. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=3891)

During a particularly heated argument between her friends, Catch and Zilliah, Genny attempted to keep the peace and mistakenly got between the two. Frustrated Zilliah turned his wrath on Genny, forcing into her mind the madman's recollections. Subsequent years are spent trying to regain her sanity and control a variety of telepathic-like abilities which seem to have stemmed from the event.

Genny spends a summer in Thessilane trying to keep Catch from hurting anyone and spending time with her older brother Bradford, upon her return to Myrken she reveals her expanding mentalist abilities to Glenn (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=3854 ). His encouragement prompts her to begin tutelage with Rhaena to better control her unnaturally obtained abilities. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3866)

213 AR - Genny works with Altias Bromn to investigate the Storyteller and her connection with Giuseppe, meanwhile Glenn goes missing. Rhaena takes control of the city and quietly Genny continues her investigations, learning about the Golben and working with the resistance among the "unswained," or those who have not been affected by Rhaena's mind control. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4132) (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4113)

In the height of the Red and Gold Summer Genny forms an unlikely partnership with Agnie to advance the dwindling resistance; together they plan the final moves to take down Rhaena. The very next day Agnie’s mind is overtaken, forcing Genny to seek out their last hope, Ariane. Ariane is already swain, so Genny ‘wakes’ her to reveal the truth about Rhaena. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4169) & (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4248 ).

"The Dark Hour" overtakes Myrken and the “Mindwitch,” Rhaena is murdered, there are numerous suspects. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4262)

Suspects continue to be questioned and the search for Glenn continues. Following the death of Rhaena and Glenn’s return, his first public speech, threatening to turn riotous, tests the limits of Genny’s mentalist powers. In an effort to protect Glenn she sways Gloria and Agnie’s emotions, gets punched, and falls off a stage. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4311 ).

214 AR - Genny meets with Ariane and discovers that the essence, or spirit of Elliot haunts the swordwoman’s dreams. Unsure of her mental powers and still scared from what she had done a month earlier she offers to try and remove him from the stone where he is trapped. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=56&t=4322)

With Rhaena’s murder unsolved, Glenn’s retreat to solitude, and the realization that she has started down the same path as Rhaena, Genny becomes untethered. Fearing her mental abilities and that she will hurt others, she retreats into the solitude of the Library to try and find a solution. It is here that Gloria finds her and they reconcile (with a kiss). (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4395)

215 AR - Efforts are continued to salvage books from the crumbling library. The pie-maker shares a dream with Zilliah and Elliot, which allows her to forgive herself and decide to make Myrken better. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4451 )

216 AR - After the empowering dream with Elliot, Genny returns to clean, renovate, and re-establish the Inquisitory and align it’s purpose to protecting the town. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=4606 )

Genny proposes a plan, approved by the Lord Steward Treadwell, to renovate and expand the Meeting House. A Thessilanian architect by the name of Walter draws up the plans and construction begins. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=4785)

Recovered books and a personal collection are re-located to the [[Myrkentown Inquisitory|Inquisitory], to become part of a new library being built as part of the Meeting House renovation project. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4784)

217 AR - Now confident in the control over her mental abilities; a revealing letter is sent to Glenn, detailing long-held affections and a plan to seek out Kals. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4822)

218 AR - Genny boldly ventures into the forest to have a conversation with Kals about Rhaena’s death and whether or not she, herself, is a threat. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4832)

The Present
Construction on the meeting house continues, though her affiliation with it remains relatively private. Walter (NPC, Architect) and Genny’s page / ward Daryl handle most day-to-day operations. More private than previously, Genny doesn’t get out much, conducting business from her desk and visits are more or less by appointment only.

However, she is not easily overlooked; with her excessive height and the brilliant hue of her long hair, it’s simply impossible to blend in with a crowd. She is almost ungainly in the lean length of her limbs.

The finer details include the the delicate freckles dusted over the bridge of her nose and the stains of ink speckling her left hand, which to be fair, stand stark against a pale complexion. Only the truly crafty or the long-time friends would notice the white scars that line her wrist.

While her attempts to be ladylike are valiant, her clumsiness and lack of balance often betray her as much as her stubborn demeanor. Although her clothes are well made, and of finer fabrics, they’re usually fairly subdued in color. Tailored, floor length and fitted, her dresses are almost military in their rigid appearance, and sometimes worn with a black sash or more casually tied as a decorative belt.

Background
It is widely known, and physically obvious, that Genny is from Thessilane.

There are a few who might know her well enough to have the jist of her background. Something along the lines of a noble mother, a hobbyist herbalist or was it a baker? She made pies, I think. Yes. And her father was a physician, one of the best - he served the Duke in Thessilane. They both died in the destruction of Orvere. No. Only her mother did, her father was some time later - after she had already come to Myrken. She has a bother, or two. Maybe it was six? One of them is a doctor too, Bradford, I think? Like his father, he serves Lady Lamai Carver and her husband Christoph in Thessilane. But Tennant, her twin, he’s the famous one - or infamous I suppose. The thief! Everyone knows she despises him.

Timeline
207 AR - To pay for her room, Genny joined the staff of the Broken Dagger. It took only several hours of spilled drinks before she was sent to the kitchen as a cook, where she excelled as a pie-maker. Her hard work and harsh words for anyone causing trouble made her fast friends with the barmaid, Dulcie.

208 AR - Times become tur
bulent in Myrken Wood, friends begin to die or become injured. A letter from home is received and Genny leaves for Thessilane.

211 AR - Genny returns to Myrken Wood from Thessilane, encountering the foreboding ‘bodyguard’ Giuseppe on the porch of the Dagger. Immediately she sets to arguing with Glenn, offending his hired hand, and somehow, subsequently land a job working for Aloisius Treadwell.

Genny meets and befriends several Dagger regulars, Catch, Winifred, and Descant and helps to plan the Grand Ball (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3590). It was here that she met Lamai’s handsome guard, James, with whom she would have a relationship for several years after.

Genny researches The Blight, destroying the forest and make a bargain with the druid Lilani to help restore the woods, ground water, and crops. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=3654&start=15)

The tax vault is broken into, all of Myrken’s gold stolen, and as is it’s Tax Collector, Treadwell.

212 AR - After Glenn’s inauguration into Governorship Genny was assigned to the newly formed Inquistory, working with Aleksei River investigating strange happenings and keeping tabs on some of Myrken’s more dangerous elements.

Frustrated Zilliah turned his wrath on Genny, forcing into her mind recollections of the madman’s mind. Subsequent years are spent trying to regain her sanity and control a variety of telepathic-like abilities.

Genny spends a summer in Thessilane trying to keep Catch from hurting anyone and spending time with her older brother Bradford, upon return she reveals her expanding mentalist abilities to Glenn (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=3854 ). His encouragement prompts her to begin tutelage with Rhaena to better control her unnaturally obtained mental abilities. (Meeting of Minds: http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3866)

213 AR - Genny works with Altias Bromn to investigate the Storyteller and her connection with Giuseppe, meanwhile Glenn goes missing. Rhaena takes control of the city and quietly Genny continues her investigations, learning about the Golben and working with the resistance among the unswained. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4132) (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4113)

In the height of the Red and Gold Summer Genny forms an unlikely partnership with Agnie to advance the dwindling resistance, together they plan the final moves to take down Rhaena. The very next day Agnie’s mind is overtaken, forcing Genny to seek out their last hope, Ariane. Already swain, Genny ‘wakes’ her to reveal the truth about Rhaena. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4169) & (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4248 ).

The Dark Hour overtakes Myrken and the “Mindwitch,” Rhaena is murdered, there are numerous suspects.

Fearing her mental abilities and that she will hurt others, she retreats into the solitude of the Library where she Gloria finds her here and they reconcile.

Recovered books and a personal collection are re-located to the Inquisitory, to become part of a new library being built as part of the Meeting House renovation project. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4784)

217 AR - Now confident in the control over her mental abilities; a revealing letter is sent to Glenn, detailing long-held affections and a plan to seek out Kals. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=4822)

218 AR - Genny boldly into the forest to have a conversation with Kals about Rhaena’s death and whether or not she, herself, it a threat. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4832)
Construction on the meeting house continues, though her affiliation with it remains relatively private. Walter (NPC Architect) and Genny’s page / ward Daryl handle most day-to-day operations. More private than previously, Genny doesn’t get out much, conducting business from her desk and visits are more or less by appointment only.

212 AR - After Glenn’s inauguration into Governorship Genny was assigned to the newly formed Inquistory, working with Aleksei River investigating strange happenings and keeping tabs on some of Myrken’s more dangerous elements.

Fearing her mental abilities and that she will hurt others, she retreats into the solitude of the Library where she Gloria finds her here and they reconcile.
Genny proposes a plan, approved by the Lord Steward Treadwell, to renovate and expand the meeting house. A Thessilanian architect by the name of Walter draws up the plans and construction begins. (http://brokendagger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=4785)
“Well meaning and precocious, underestimated and determined, she sticks her neck out into the face of danger, red hair obscuring her vision but her heart guiding her way.” - Matt

Upon meeting Genny you have met a mid-twenty year old woman who is plain, pretty on occasion, and generally polite.

Tailored, floor legth and fitted, her dresses are almost military in there rigid appearance, sometimes worn with a black sash or more casually tied as a decorative belt.
Description
The disposition of the accused thief is surprisingly amicable, ever smiling and generally cordial. However, his conversation with those he doesn’t care for is often glib and awash with sarcasm. An insufferable flirt, he has no qualms going out of his way to show respect for, or gather the attention, of someone he finds attractive. Though it seems he does have quite a bit of difficulty retaining them.

In terms of appearance, he easily stands out with his unusually tall and lanky frame, the flame-like red hair, and smattering of freckles across his cheeks. It isn’t the best appearance for an accused thief but watch him long enough in the bar and his quick, deft movements might suggest he is well suited for unsavory occupation.

Origins
Both he and his twin sister, Genny were born and raised in Orvere, Thessilane. Not much is known about Tennant; there are plenty of rumors supported by posters some years ago accusing someone matching his likeness of thievery.

Appearance
Not one to be considered perfect or lovely, Genny is plain. Pretty, perhaps, but plain. She is forgettable aside from the natural red color of her hair and her height. Standing, she is as tall if not taller than most Myrken men. Her hair is long, the ends of it clap the small of her back when it is worn down. She looks to be shy of twenty, younger when she smiles as the bridge of her nose and cheeks are awash with freckles. Barely noticeable are long, thin scars down either arm, the closure is clean as if the sharpest blade had made them. Freckles and scars aside, she is pale, extremely so, as if she barely leaves indoors, a reasonable assumption as her left-hand fingers are often stained with ink from prolonged periods of writing.

Genny’s clothes range to suit her purpose. Though she rarely has time for it of late, as a pie-maker she wears her old, stained dress, a faded blue, a foot too short, and patched in a dozen places from burns and wear. More often she wears a gray that sits perfectly between black and white. A personally symbolic dress, as if it is a uniform; the fabric is nice enough, utility the priority over fashion. It wears from collarbone to ankle, a bland front with a long line of at least a hundred buttons down the back and a black sash worn as a belt with delicate white embroidery on the tails. But of course, since her employment with the Inquisitory her personal clothes have steadily improved, no longer several years old and lacking propriety in length.

She had only several sets until her tutelage with Rhaena began, now she has an assortment of finer dresses and accessories, most which only come out on the rarest occasion. If at all.

Origin
What is known of Genny varies by person. Her employer,Glenn_Burnie, surely has a file the size of a small child, whereas some, like Agnieszka Kaczmarek need only know she is from Thessilane, to begrudge her. The only daughter of a prominent physician, she has several brothers. Of those that are known, there is Bradford, a doctor himself, working for Christoph and the Lady Lamai Carver in Thessilane. Then there is her twin brother, Tennant, relatively new to and now living Myrken, wanted by the Thessilane government – a criminal. The first she is fond of, the latter, she despises.

Arrival to Myrken Wood
Genny first arrived to Myrken Wood in the cool Summer of 207. Rather than seeking someone out or passing through, as the truly intelligent did, she immediately obtained a serving position at the Broken Dagger. It took only several hours of spilled drinks and ruined meals before she was placed in the kitchen as a cook. Her hard work and harsh words for anyone causing trouble made her fast friends with a maid, Dulcie, who eventually bought the place. Genny’s pies, on the other hand, which have been called legendary, are what endeared her to the gluttonous toymaker, Aloisius Treadwell. Meanwhile, it was her inability to avoid trouble that formed the unlikely friendship with the, then young, mapmaker, Glenn. It was his frustration, a gifted silver dagger, and a few hot words that might be considered one of several catalysts that prompted her to better herself.

It was not the repeated destruction of the bar, the terrifying incident with the blood conjurer, or even The Ashfiend that lead to Genny’s absence. It was a letter. The contents of the letter are not known by many, but what is known, is that it was Fall in the year 209 when she left for Thessilane.

Return to Myrken Wood
A great deal of time passed before her return, some warm day of May in 211. And with Giuseppe as her first encounter, she knew for as much as she had changed, so too had Myrken. On this auspicious day she managed not only to argue with Glenn, offend his hired hand, but also land a job tallying figures for the tax man, Treadwell.

Her work for him lasted scant weeks, before joining Glenn as a secretary just prior to his ascent to Governor. Since, Genny has worked as a Junior Inquisitor with Aleksei River at Glenn’s newly devised Inquisitory.

In between investigations, where she was paired with Altias Bromn, Cinnabar Calomel, and long hours buried in the Library, Genny had become good friends with Catch andZilliah, as well as Phlynn,Winifred Lawson, Lamai Carver, and Rhaena Olwak. While hardly enemies, she has been known to argue, extensively, with Elliot Brown and Agnie.

Madness
In an angry outburst, provoked by an argument they were having, Zilliah mentally shared Catch’s mind with Genny. Her mind, however, didn’t have the capacity to process what he shared. The traumatic event has since given her unrelenting nightmares prompting her long-time beau, James, one of Lamai Carver’s knights, to form a protective barrier around her mind. For many months she practiced alone, until she broke the barrier and was able to communicate with Zilliah, sharing words, mental landscapes, memories and emotions telepathically. With practice and Rhaena’s coaching, she has been able to hone her mental skills, though they are still rudimentary.

*The Storyteller and The Mindwitch
The Storyteller herself was of little impact for the Junior Inquisitor who, since Aleksei’s leave earlier in the year, had taken on a larger role of research and clean-up on behalf of the Inquisitory. It wasn’t until Glenn’s mysterious disappearance and Rhaena’s sudden departure from sanity that Genny called on Cinnabar and became friends with Gloria to learn what had happened. After an exhaustive investigation into Stefan Berdini and a suspicious instruction from Rhaena’s appointed High Inquisitor,The Man in White, a book of names, listing all of the Swained was delivered to Ariane Carnath-Emory at Darkenhold. It was here that Genny reached out to Ariane’s mind and conveyed all of the information, including the discovery of The Golben as a prison, likely used by Rhaena to hold Glenn.

*Investigating the Black Hour
As of 214, Glenn as returned, though unrest in Myrken is prevalent.

"Such an odd young woman" --Sarcyn

Appearance
For a young woman so talented in the kitchen, Genny is a stick of a girl. Not particularly well endowed and soaring above other women, she stands equally as tall as most average men. Her hair is somewhat long and somewhere between a fiery red and strawberry blonde, and almost always pulled back in some way or another. Despite her height she is fairly young looking, eighteen or nineteen, probably an accurate estimate though she only ever says she’s the twin of the fourth, of five brothers. Her complexion is fair and smooth, dusted with freckles. However, rough scars appear on her hands and wrists from an encounter with the blood conjurer Sumakta. Her eyes are a vibrant green and thanks to such terrifying encounters; they are almost always alert either simply to be of help or in anticipation of defending herself.

The clothes she wears are well made, of very sturdy construction, and utilize fine materials with beautiful dyes, but clearly with some wear. Her priorities are for ease of use rather than fashion, though the cuts are flattering if not a few years out of style and perhaps a foot too short for her height. Always on her is an easily and usually concealed dagger, a gift from Glenn Burnie, it is ornately engraved but otherwise unremarkable.

In recent times the local population are often surprised as she has become far more plucky, confident, and outspoken – though her clumsiness, it seems, will never go away.

Background
Born to a well-to-do, respected doctor and his wife from Thessilane, Genevieve Tolleson, “Genny” has a twin brother, Tennant and five other brothers. The only younger one is Markus. From youngest to eldest her other brothers include Kaden, Bradford, Jeryl, and Garrett.
In the spring of 207 Genny’s father became ill with an unknown disease. Confined to his bed he was forced to close his practice until Garrett, the eldest son could return from his training and take over the family business. Since, the Tolleson siblings have ventured out to go to school, find work and support their father with the hopes that there is a cure.
Of late, it is important to note that Markus has taken up with a band of thieves and is assumed missing or dead.
Originally trained as an assistant to her father, Genny worked with healing herbs, creating medicines and salves for her father’s patients. Cooking came naturally with her knowledge of herbs and from her mother’s instruction before she passed away.

In Myrken & At the Dagger
Genny arrived at Myrken Wood after a fruitless quest for a job as an herbalist. But with little official training, no references, and the fact that she was a girl, the search was nearly doomed from the start. This experience would contribute greatly to some of her later decisions. It was late summer several years ago when she accidentally happened upon her job as the cook at the Broken Dagger, when the cook then on staff simply walked out on the job and a barmaid Genny had been talking to begged her to stand in for the evening.

On numerous occasions the clumsy cook has had to stand in for absent, generally lethargic and / or disappeared barmaids (as is standard fare in seedy joints such as the Dagger). However, the attempt is usually followed by tripping and soup ending up in someone’s lap or in starting a brawl between half the occupants. In almost every instance, her friend Dulcie, the best barmaid in her opinion, has saved her from jeers, taunts, and even weapons.
However, it was on one particular occasion that her clumsiness and fear caught the attentions of the necromancer Sumakta who attempted to use his magic to drain the blood out of her.

The sensation was unlike any other feeling, the pull of blood away from its core - the heart thumping wildly to keep it, to bring it back and unable to do so. It was like a horse at full gallop had been restrained in so much that despite all of its muscles throbbing wildly, grasping forward, no ground could be made. Her head was light and the vision darkening at the edges as if slowly the picture were disappearing entirely, "...stop..." Her voice was raspy, choking, ... gurgling.

Thankfully and unfortunately many of Myrken’s most colorful people can be found at the Dagger at one point or another and she has made good friends with Aloisius Treadwell, probably because she makes some of his favorite pies, or just because she provides food at all.

Glenn Burnie though they usually end up arguing, this frequent patron has on occasion offered helpful advice and the gift of a fine dagger to ensure that Genny has the means to protect herself, a treasured gift which she still carries. Recently, upon her return to Myrken she repaid his kindness by offering a very fine manuscript entitled, Tales of the North: Folklore and Stories from Hexal and Beyond. The volume included many maps, diagrams, and surveys of lands that have been little explored.

She is also friends of Rhaena, Lessa Harpwind, Raid, and most of the Dagger regulars who don’t try to kill her.

Ongoing Story
After her recent return to Myrken there is some speculation that she did more than visit her family in Thessilane during her absence. Genny has returned with a little more fire in her stomach and outspoken tendencies which were not at all present before. And it has been disclosed to Treadwell that she “has nowhere else to go".

Background
Born to a well-to-do, respected doctor and his wife from Thessilane, Genevieve Tolleson, “Genny” has a twin brother, Markus and five other brothers. The only younger one is Tennant.

Rest in Peace
It was early fall and the air was brisk, still holding a bit of warmth from a summer that was quickly fading. Reports from a fellow patient and a traveling nurse at the Rememdium Edificium where the seamstress often volunteered, claimed she had come in nearly frozen to death. Her blue lips uttering, “its not a dream…” The following morning, despite all the blankets available and a healthy fire, she was pronounced dead due to hypothermia and exposure.

Authorities dismissed the strange circumstances of her death, though rumors at the time surfaced speaking to strange winter dreams.

Appearence
Working in Myrkentown proper as a seamstress, most days this feisty young woman leads a common life. On more than one occasion she has been in trouble with Maxwell Bishop for petty antics, but hardly anything to hold her for. She is usually a disheveled mess, wavy locks of radiant auburn tumble down over her shoulders when they're not messily braided from a days work. Her shoulders lay bare with a low chemise, high enough as to not entice, but well worn and meant for its adaptability to her chores. Her clothes may be faded and simple, but her smile is gentle and her kindness offered to almost everyone.

Despite the sweat on her brow her eyes are a soft and refreshing, spring-water blue. But that which should make her least common of all is her voice, passing over rosey lips that often smile and grin, is a charmed voice. She tries to hide her secrets from most, but Rhea is obviously a foreigner with a heavy broken accent that fades away when she sings. An occurrence that after hiding for nearly three years in under Myrken's protection appears more and more frequently, especially with the encouragement of her healing friend Bryce Larose.

As a manipulator of words, a magic handling human, and a healer, Rhea was once a priestess of the highest rank, in the Isles of the north, the Shadow Moon Isle in efforts to deter attention from those would abuse her powers she simply hides.

Background
Born in a small farming village, Katarhea ‘Rhea’ lived a simple country life until the age of seven when she was selected to begin training at the central temple. Her blood made her a viable candidate but her stunning voice was what made her stand out among the other girls selected to assist the governing Priestess' of the land.

Not soon after her appointment the lands were invaded and the training temple came under siege. What once was a shimmering tribute of lush fertile lands, and abundant springs of sparkling water had become an inferno where she had witnessed the torture and murder of two sisters. Taking the last and key song book to ensure its safety she murdered the deformed drow that had been her captor. And fled across the Beradt Sea into Amasynia, where upon she landed in New Dauntless attempted to lie low in the event her captors would track her. Somehow she found her way into Myrken Wood. Even now hundreds of leagues away nightmares of the atrocity and blood plague her thoughts.

Skills
Due to Rhea's extensive knowledge and ability to manipulate her own voice many feats become possible such as:

*When able to hum or sing - hands may warm and/or glow upon touching heal another's wounds ONLY if they 'accept' the gesture.

*When able to hum or sing - create a barrier or shield between her and an oncoming or attacking enemy.

*When able to hum or sing - create temporary tangible illusions this includes the ability to tune specifically to a single person or creature without others hearing.

*Other minor vocal abilities include emotional influence, insulating and creating fire, disguise, enchanting, embedding dreams, entering another’s dream, and inflicting death.

<b>Note:</b>

*barriers, healing, and extensive illusions create an alarming exertion of energy which may limit the effect of the process to a few minutes or even seconds in duration. (depending on intensity)

*In order to inflict death on another creature she must forfeit her own life.

*When under extreme stress her physical appearance will alter, her eyes are likely to fade to a near crystal blue and her hair darken to near black.
Often one sees her she's a disheveled mess, wavy locks of radiant auburn tumble down over her shoulders when they're not messily braided from a days work. Her shoulders lay bare with a low chemise, high enough as to not entice, but well worn and meant for its adaptability to her chores. Her clothes may be faded and simple, but her smile is gentle and her kindness offered to almost everyone. Despite the sweat on her brow her eyes are a vivid and refreshing green. But that which should make her least common of all is her voice, passing over rosey lips that often smile and grin, is a charmed voice. Although she hides her secrets from most, Rhea is obviously a foreigner with a heavy broken accent that fades away when she sings. An occurrence that after hiding for nearly three years in under Myrken's protection appears more and more frequently. For with practice one might retain and even attain a higher level of understanding. As a manipulator of words, a magic handling human, and a healer, Rhea was once a priestess of the highest rank, in the Isles of the north, the Shadow Moon Isle.

Background
Born in a small farming village, Rhea was born as Katarhea, where she lived a simple country life until the age of seven when she was selected to begin training at the central temple. Her blood made her a viable candidate but her stunning voice was what made her stand out among the other girls selected to assist the governing Priestess' of the land. Not soon after her appointment the lands were invaded and the training temple came under seige. What once was a shimmering tribute of lush fertile lands, and abundant springs of sparkling water had become an inferno where she had witnessed the torture and murder of two sisters. Stealing the last and key song book with two of the remaining high priestess she murdered the deformed drow that had been her captor. And fled across the Beradt Sea into Amasynia, where upon they landed in New Dauntless and split apart, and Rhea found her way into Myrken Wood. Even now hundreds of leagues away nightmares of the atrocity and blood plague her thoughts.

Skills
Due to Rhea's extensive knowledge and ability to manipulate her own voice many feats become possibile such as:
*When able to hum or sing - hands may warm and/or glow upon touching heal another's wounds ONLY if they 'accept' the gesture.
*When able to hum or sing - create a barrier or shield between her and an oncoming or attacking enemy.
*When able to hum or sing - create temporary tangible illusions this includes the ability to tune specifically to a single person or creature without others hearing.
*Other minor vocal abilities include emotional influence, insulating and creating fire, disguise, enchanting, embedding dreams, and inflicting death.

<b>Note:</b>
*barriers, healing, and extensive illusions create an alarming exertion of energy which may limit the effect of the process to a few minutes or even seconds in duration. (depending on intensity)
*In order to inflict death on another creature she must forfeit her own life.
* In the mid-morning of September 7th, a bloody brawl was witnessed just outside the Dagger involving a large beast. Some of those present included a near transparent Quincy, Rhaena Olwak, Reagan Biske, Bryce Larose, Roderic Cliché, and Rhea Eniatre. While all of those engaged in fighting, excluding the beast, seem to have escaped with severe to realtively minor injuries, there has been an issue raised about the beast's blood which covered a large radius over the front porch. Shortly after tending to Reagan Biske's wounds, Rhea Eniatre experienced dizzy spells and a period of unconsciousness, which at this time is being attributed to a toxic and/or poisonous attribute in the beast's blood. This theory is still being investigated. --Anie 12:29, 8 September 2006 (EDT)
By blood alone she was destined to her post, but her powerful will and learned skills lead her to the Circle of Six, the governing Priestess' of the land. Not soon after her appointment the lands were invaded and the temple under seige. What once was a shimmering tribute of lush fertile lands, and abundant springs of sparkling water had become an inferno where she had witnessed the torture and murder of two sisters. The marble temple became stained with the blood of her people, even now hundreds of leagues away nightmares of the rape, attrocity and blood-scourge of the seige plague her thoughts. Stealing the last and key song book with two of the remaining high priestess she murdered the deformed drow that had been her captor. And fled across the Beradt Sea into Amasynia, where upon they landed in New Dauntless and split apart, and Rhea found her way into Myrken.

*When under extreme stress her physical appearence will alter, her eyes are likely to fade to a near crystal blue and her hair darken to near black.
*In the mid-morning of September 7th a bloody brawl was witnessed just outside the Dagger involving a large beast attack. Some of those present included a near transparent Quincy, Rhaena Olwak, Reagan Biske, Bryce Larose, Roderic Cliché, and Rhea Eniatre. While all of those engaged in fighting, excluding the beast, seem to have escaped with sever to realtively minor injuries, there has been an issue raised about the beast's blood which covered a large radius over the front porch. Shortly after tending to Reagan Biske's wounds, Rhea Eniatre experienced dizzy spells and a period of unconsciousness which at this time is being attributed to a toxic and / or poisonous attribute in the beast's blood. This theory is still being investigated. --Anie 12:29, 8 September 2006 (EDT)
A few have called this simple seamstress Lady Rhea, though she finds the title unjust. Working in Myrken proper as a seamstress for hire, and a washer woman most days this fiesty young woman leads a common life. As most would easily conclude. Often one sees her she's a disheveled mess, wavy locks of radiant auburn tumble down over her shoulders when they're not messily braided from a days work. Her shoulders lay bare with a low chemise, high enough as to not entice, but well worn and meant for its adaptability to her chores. On top is a tightly laced bodice (one that does NOT display her as to offer evidence of an alternate profession.) Her clothes may be faded and simple, and all three skirts worn at once, but her smile is gentle and her bite a serpent's envy. In a word; stubborn. Despite the sweat on her brow her eyes are a vivid and refreshing green, like a cool afternoon in a lush meadow. But that which should make her least common of all is her voice, passing over rosey lips that often smile and grin, her voice is charmed. Although she hides her secrets and defends them well Rhea is most obviously a foreigner with a heavy broken accent that fades away when she sings. As a manipulator of words, a magic handling human, Rhea was once a priestess of the highest rank, in the Isles of the north, the Shadow Moon Isle.
