The Horseshoes of the Zephyr were a magical prize awarded to the first place winner of the Great Carnival Contest. The abilities bestowed upon the horse that wore these make them worth many thousands of shilling, such as being able to cross over water and rocky, dangerous terrain without issue. The horseshoes work by levitating the horse a few inches off a surface at all times (whether it be cobblestone or water).
