Kanpar

Kanpar Village was a small village approximately a week's travel from Myrken Wood, hidden amidst the forest. It had a small population and for the most part there was little extraordinary about it, save that it was home to a wizard by the name of Hammon whose obsession with magically creating new forms of life eventually led to the birth of the monstrous Zayken. This led to the eventually destruction of Kanpar Village, which remains now as a charred ruin, and an unceremonious graveyard of its inhabitants.

Kanpar was also Sawyer's home village, and she is the only known survivor of Zayken's massacre there.
