In Myrken Wood, there was once a man who thought he had lost everything, his entire life, his entire reason for being. So he decided to sacrifice himself for the sake of others, so that they might not lose everything as well. His life would end. He would join those he loved in death and it would be good. Myrken is a fickle place. It stole the man back from death's waiting maw. This had a last cost, the very memories of that life he had lost. He awoke with the most terrible, wonderful gift of absolute freedom. The man patrols the streets of Myrken no longer knowing all that he had lost. Envy him. Pity him.
