Castle duMonde is the home of Varian apBlanc duMonde. The fortress is located within the Dauntine region of the Sikasoon Mountains and served as the seat of Varian's power, while he was a baron in the territory. The rocky path to the castle is a treacherous one and the altitude at which it was constructed makes for a barren, frozen landscape.
