Charlotte Arryngton

Charlotte Arryngton is a Myrken Wood socialite and the wife of wealthy merchanter and plantation landlord Samuel Arryngton. They're relatively nouveau-riche compared to other members of the local upper crust, but that never mattered to her; Charlotte, bound and determined to carve a place for herself on the power circuit, did not care that her husband regularly cavorts in taverns with harlots -- she proved herself a force to be reckoned with at parties, and is conniving, crafty, self-involved, and a smart conversationalist.

For some reason, she was always disgusted with Councilor Aloisius Treadwell, and spent months on a crusade to have him ejected from the Council during his tenure. Such efforts were, possibly, the only true civic involvement Charlotte has engaged in during her entire egotistical life.

Charlotte's other extracurricular activities include taking care of and garnering new additions to her dress-closet; there are few things she cares about more than her own clothing and appearance.

Currently, Charlotte is living out her tilt-a-whirl life of parties and gatherings with Myrken Wood's upper crust, completely unconcerned by tales of drow and murder. She has three sons, all of whom are in year-round boarding-school in Thessilane.

Her word is the gold standard in Myrken Wood gossip.
