The Ducal Aegis

The Ducal Aegis is a specialized military unit under the command of Count Coran D'zir of Calael County in Thessilane, and is answerable only to Duke Burel Tassnehof. Created approximately one year after the demise of the School of Golben and the School of Four Stones, the Ducal Aegis was originally the idea of the Duke of Thessilane, who saw, in spite of the danger, the potential of men who could channel the One Power.
