Nova

Physical Description

At a short five feet and three inches, Nova is a demihuman appearing to be in her late teens or early twenties at the most. She has a pallid, milk-white complexion matched by equally pale hair that falls bone-straight towards her waist. Her ears taper in an almost elvish fashion, with a quartet of small white spines protruding just above. She hardly seems a threat, with her quiet mannerisms, soft frame and withdrawn demeanor, her large, pale red eyes often brimming with curiosity. Nova tends to walk on her toes, with balance aided by her long whipcord tail.

History

Aberration. Abomination. Homunculus. There are many names spoken when referring to a creature such as Nova, and rightly so; she is, to say the very least, unnatural. She was not 'born' in the traditional sense, but carefully crafted through magical rituals and years of failed, twisted experiments that left the others who came first dead. Or worse.
