An update from your Ops!

Dear Everyone,

This is to outline a few things that we Ops are working on to maintain the integrity of rp in "The Dagger" (and to help you improve the quality of things all-around.) Your Ops team is full of dedicated individuals who are here to help your experience of "Broken Dagger" to be a favorable one. We are focusing our attentions on the following at this time:

First, we are responding to the want/need for more live interaction in the RP rooms, mainly in the Dagger itself. Everyone is involved in creating the atmosphere of our channels, and because of this, you will be seeing more of us! Don't be surprised if you are encouraged (or dragged!) to play, too.

Second, we are seeing a lot of new (and returned!) faces and we're glad! We will be working with all of you to welcome these new and returned characters into our comfortable setting. Our goal is to have easily-accessible role-play going on, as much as possible. We'd like to make sure that our IC environment is comfortable, and really try to avoid overwhelming players who want to find ways to get involved.

Third, our website will be under redesign in the coming weeks/months. We will be asking for your input along the way, via player polls and discussions, so please check your forums on a regular basis! We will want to hear from you.

If you have given the Ops an idea, or have proposed a question, you would not see it listed in a general update unless we've had the chance to talk to you. Please understand that we respect the confidentiality of what you bring to us. Feel free to see one (or all) of us if you have been waiting for a reply and we have not touched base.

In closing, we say a fond farewell to Channe/K as she leaves the Cofounder position in pursuit of a busy albeit productive life! We will miss her input and enthusiasm to the level that we've all become accustomed to. K will remain on the team and give as much in the time that she can.

On a sadder note, we're saying a farewell to Coran/James, who is stepping down from the ops team for now. We're very fortunate that he'll be staying on to aid in redesigning our website, and shattering our characters' psyches!

We also must now recognize a newer Cofounder who has stepped up to help while Channe maintains a smaller profile. Please, welcome Quincy/Little/Jen to this new (and busy!) position. You should find that Jen is very easy to talk to, and is knowledgable about the setting and structure of this community.

We are all eager to help players feel at home here. Thank you for taking time to read this, and also thank you for playing with us in Broken Dagger!
