Letter of Near Urgency

Within the moment of receiving it, Sir Malaroth Deucalios would know exactly who had penned the letter. The perfectionist style, and grace of the sprawlings were all the same and within that odd ink color of deepest purple.

It read:

Dearest Sir Malaroth Deucalios, Grand Master of the Shepherd Knights:

I write to you in haste in regards to the most recent happenings.

Last evening, we, the patrons of the Broken Dagger, had the ill-pleasure of meeting the monster who has terrified Myrken Wood for weeks; he that is known as Teron Ashfiend. He came with a message.

"I will meet with the squire, and Vraal, at Snowstill."

I can only suspect that the squire mentioned is Miss Patience. And I have only heard stories regarding this Vraal character; one I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting.

The terrible visionary of Teron Ashfiend said another thing; that, once the remaining week of peace was over, that he would seek out Glenn Burnie, our dear mapmaker, and murder him.

Though I am not one to emotionally attach myself to individuals, I would be slightly irritated if this were to happen to our gentle Glenn. He is the embodiment of moral aptitude that all of Myrken Wood should adopt.

Perhaps it is wise to quicken the process that you and I have agreed to, if not only to protect our mutual friend.

Ever dutifully yours,
