Origins
Born, raised and schooled in Bozbarnia, Airie was very interested in magic while growing up. When he finished his primary schooling he applied to the Bozbarnia College to formally begin his mage training. At the college he did quite well in all subjects, but his favorites were Magic Theory and Advanced Mathematics. He passed his first year with exceptional marks and was very excited to return the next year to start learning spells in earnest. Sadly, his family had run out of money to fund his education and Airie was faced with a decision: work on his family's farm or seek his own fortune and pursue the art of magic.
The Broken Dagger
Airie wandered the provinces surrounding Myrken Wood in an attempt to find a master wizard to apprentice under, but he could find no one willing to teach him for free. He began saving money earned from tutoring primary school students in maths to find an expert mage. One of the students he assisted told him about the Broken Dagger tavern and suggested he go there to seek training and an apprenticeship.
