Information

One day, there came the birth of twins, Aiyanna and Dragon. The skies darken on that morn and their father's mother swears death and vengeance on the mother as well as the children. The twins are whisked away as infants; each carried to a different land in case harm comes to one, or the other.

Hidden from her grandmother's hatred for many years. Aiyanna, a princess by birth, is given everything that she could possibly want, but the loneliness of her world wields this child's imagination. Separated from her twin, she finds solstice with the land and the knowledge she has magic. Many hours are spent among the crystal trees and the land of snow, playing with her favorite doll, one she can change into people's images.

A simple form of magic creates a world for her, one where she can surrender the loneliness, and turn fantasy into reality.

Time passes slowly until her sixteenth year and she is brought back to the family. Once united she stands before her brother Dragon looking at a mirror image of herself, they bond as if they were never separated. Dragon is fond of her and makes jests of her spoiled misbehavior; he delights in setting up situations that he knows she will react to. She is tagged with the nickname "Brat" and he ridicules her immaturity, as he himself tries to relinquish his childhood as he becomes a man.

Briefly she meets her father -- a Knight of Chivalry, or so she was told, but the ugliness of his stern exterior makes her look deeply inside this man. He hates her free, mischievous ways, and strikes her with fire when she teases her adopted sister. The party where this happened, she fell to the floor writhing in agonizing pain. Looking up she sees Sara, one she has not seen before but has heard of her great powers of healing. Aiyanna is healed of her burns and on this special day of her sixteenth birthday, Sara and she quickly bond as good friends.

Her magic has grown through Star's teaching and he is the fondest memory of her childhood. Leaving Aiyanna and the family Star marries her adopted sister; the one she despises and competes with for her father's attention. Time comes again and separation is a must, their mother, Sabir whisks most of the family to another land. Aiyanna being as headstrong as always remains behind to follow a path through the thickening woods. This path she was told to be wary of by her teacher, Star.

Aiyanna takes the dreaded steps one-foot at a time, into the dark world that envelopes her. The earth seems alive, the castle breathes as if it has a heart beat and she enters the deepest world of darkness to be captured by the man of darkness with no face or name, and pursued to delve into the darkest of magic rituals. Horrific rituals, ones of extraordinary measures shatter parts of her memory, thus protecting her from insanity.

Aiyanna escapes this man one eve while he is distracted and fleeing to a new land, she builds her own kingdom. Questions of what will come of this man, the one who reeks of darkness and her relationship with him will soon be answered. She takes refuge as she builds her kingdom in this new land she resides over. She takes on a special bodyguard to guard her... but then can anyone guard her, from her own darkness?

Traveling from her kingdom she frequents a small tavern, 'Broken Dagger', meeting many new friends. A letter is sent to her mother, stating she will not pursue joining the family again and indeed will follow her quest to find this man of darkness who fragmented parts of her memory.

One eve he appears. After many nights of restless sleep, nightmares and searching for him, The Creature beckons her at his will. He shows her a new feeling she has only heard others speak of... love. She walks mesmerized to him, fear beats in her heart no questions asked as this new feeling she has never felt, will be something she will reach for. He touches her with mockery, emotion, control and this strange feeling.

The trees sway with crystal ice and the winds howl as they descend into the forest he all in white, his muscular body leading the way. Crystals glisten on his hair. She walks beside him, her white velvet cloak billowing about her. The only color one sees in this path is her red hair blowing wildly about her. Or indeed, is it her fiery spirit that will be in for the fight of her life, a submission of an emotion she has never had?

They disappear into the woods as the arms of the silver crystal trees envelope them, one does not know what will indeed walk out again.
