Description
Dejicere is a short, frail man in his late teens with a dark complexion that goes well beyond sun-baked. His long, black hair is often used to cover most of his facial features but once out of the way it's obvious there's some elven heritage there. Musculature, bone structure, almond eyes, and pointed ears make it all too obvious that one of his parents was some kind of elf. His eyes are a colorless gray much like his tastes in colors that he wears: often baggy commoner's clothes that can hide how potentially malnourished he is. Peculiarly enough, his fingernails are the same jet-black color of his hair and it's doubtful they're painted.
Background
Origins
There's little Dej would talk about from his homeland and will often refer to it in spite, speaking of barbarism and being the victim of heavy prejudice which had him exiled. In reality he comes from a small village on the border of Jernoah where he was born of a local man and travelling elven bard who made an attempt to settle down with her mate in the village. It was always tense issue for the village and they were thoroughly alienated for it: even more-so when Caepher was born. His parents tried their best; however, it was the child that was their downfall. Caught dabbling in cantrips and other minor sorcery, all the blame was set upon his elven mother so much so that the entire manifestation of the concept that she had used elven charms to secure her mate was made. For her proposed transgressions and her husband's weakness to fall to them they were hung cheerfully and son was exiled.
The Broken Dagger
Dejicere, after renaming himself, would travel after exile until he found an unassuming locale that did not immediately pose a threat to him out of prejudice and where he might subtly practice his art in some semblance of peace. His first years in the town were something of a ghost or urchin, surviving on the streets in whatever way he could manage.
The Present
Personal assistant and apprentice of Lycoris Amoné, though the fact isn't well-known. A chance encounter led Dej to trust the woman and become regularly employed by her.
