Delamar

Delamar was a small town ruled benevolently by Roderic Cliché, housing but a very limited number of residents. No explanation has been given for the town's being burned to ash and Roderic's subsequent journeys to Myrken Wood. As there were no other survivors than Roderic himself, suspicions might be aroused that the former town baron had something to do with the town's destruction; in truth, though, Roderic was absent at the time and ended up being quite distraught on hearing of the news.
