Description

Mische is indifferent to the majority of things that take place around her. She expresses hardly any form of emotion, ranging from cool disinterest to utter detachment, making interaction with others a thoroughly awkward experience for all parties involved. She disregards most social norms in favor of a mostly nihilistic philosophy that she upholds, believing that individuals serve no objective purpose and that the values and beliefs of the races are meaningless.

She appears to be a young woman just out of her teens, with straight white hair that obscures the right half of her face and an unnaturally frail build that suggests she is not human. Her one visible eye is a gleaming silver that is visible even in the dark, and her skin is milky white. Her outfit is a simple gown woven entirely of black silk with a plunging neckline and slit at the left hip, all the way to the hemline. A short cape of the same material hangs from her shoulders, and billowing sleeves fall past her fingertips.

She carries a simple wooden staff reminiscent of a shepherd's cane, with a crook at the end.

While she does not readily engage in conversation with others, she often turns to look over one shoulder for moments at a time, as though listening to someone speak.

Her powers manifest from her shadow and grow stronger in areas where there is little or poor light, as she is able to render darkness into tangible forms and manipulate it further.

Background

Origins

Mische's origin is currently unknown, as are most details about her. She confides in no one.

The Broken Dagger

Mische appeared in the streets of Myrkentown one evening after nightfall and has been seen several times since, walking with purpose and ignoring those around her. She has had only limited interaction with the townsfolk, asking simple questions a handful of times before moving on.

The Present

Despite her seeming lack of interest in the goings on of the world, she does appear to have some sort of agenda, though she keeps it entirely to herself, and little to nothing of her goals can be gleaned from the questions she has asked.
