Nightmare Company

The Nightmare Company is a rag-tag band, composed of the creatures conjured up by Mankind's dreams - both good and bad, though the actual Company consists of more of the latter. Some consider them mercenaries, for they have indeed done that sort of work - others consider them a ravenous warband, intent on destruction.

Organization

The Company actually has a long and illustrious history since it's creation, passing from creature to creature either voluntarily... or not. Might makes right - the strongest, smartest, and most charismatic ascend to the highest ranks. The Company, in that respect, resembles a mercenary band.

The band consists of many creatures - dark dwarves, minotaurs, black unicorns, harpies, dragons, wyrms, imps, sprites, demons, vampires, werewolves, and even a drow or two.

The current leader of this Nightmare Company is a massive, near-black minotaur by the name of Choss. His lieutenants include the harpy, Daffodil.

Currently

The Nightmare Company roams, and has roamed, the entire continent - as early as last year there were reports of Choss himself actually showing up -in- the Broken Dagger.

Recently, rumors have cropped up of the Company's return to Myrken's forests, though for what purpose, none can guess. Unsettlingly enough, they are acting as mercenaries this time.
