Profile
Audred was born in the Empire of Rainbows. A daughter of two of the Princess Guards that had undergone a mating ritual strictly for the purpose of procreation. She was the result. At first, she was scheduled to be sacrificed, because the quota for offspring had been reached.
But the 'at the time' Princess was lacking some of her Handmaidens due to a recent strand of the illness that seemed to crop up every so often. Audred was taken into the House of the Princess and raised to be one of the Handmaidens. She learned quickly, her entire life was made up of studying the ways of the Handmaiden from the time she could walk and talk to the time that she could become her righthand woman.
When Anehleia took the throne from the ill Princess that taught her, Audred was already dedicated and remained such even as the Princesses changed places. The former Princess died, leaving Audred to take up the lead of the Handmaidens. Anehleia appointed her to watch over all diplomatic affairs with another of the Handmaidens named Anest'ewyn.
