Smallest territory of the southern Regal Province, its neighbours are Xanth Grange, Lisboa do Tejo and Algarve.
Cova da Tâmega boasts only two distinctive features. The first is purely geographical: it is the sole portion of the Regal Province to share a border with the Amasynian. The second is wholly political: for some three decades, Cova da Tâmega has suffered fluctuating severities of civil unrest, dating from September of 173 AR, the month in which a militant concave seized direct control of more than one third of the territory's geographical assets. Royalist authorities have since failed to reclaim this lost land, and to this day struggle intermittently to hold the rest against this veteran insurgency.
