Dante was a fanatical individual bent on ridding the world of Drow and their allies. Somewhat of a nomad, Dante wondered from place to place throughout the lands heedlessly hunting the dark elves; he was also a rather sadistic individual, often torturing Drow when he had the chance, and more often keeping severed parts to keep as trophies, including necklaces made from Drow teeth.

His weaponry matched his brutality; Dante was ever fond of battle axes, later using a short-handled axe for maneuverability. In Myrken Wood, while hunting the Drow Jirai, Dante came upon a powerful magical crossbow originally belonging to Damien that eventually killed him.

The unique dark power that made Dante so dangerous was the reflection of piercing attacks; when one stabbed or shot Dante, Dante's flesh acted like a portal into his enemy's own body - an enemy stabbing him in the stomach, for example, would feel the blade pierce their own instead.

Dante's final confrontation happened in an abandoned building in Myrkentown. He had kidnapped Suede Roschen as bait for Jirai. A fight occured between the three, joined by Ariane Carnath-Emory who fired the killing blow from the magical crossbow - a massive block of ice that struck the Drow-hunter dead.
