Information

Inception

Originally, Tempestro Starr, or Starr for short was created by Alastir years and years ago in an AD&D campaign of high-adventure, and fun. It lasted for a few years, tabletop until the character was taken online. The character was played for many years in TSBT until the move was made to #Broken_Dagger with Carnath-Emory and was made permanent. Over time, the character's development has taken different turns - but it's at #Broken_Dagger that his true nature, and his storyline actually found a fitting place. And a fitting home.

History

Youth

Starr, or Deost as he's called now - was born in a remote country on an entirely different plane. Call it cross-worlding, or perhaps just it's on the other side of the country. Koazkura was the location. But, it was only because his Father and Mother had moved there to live with his uncle Taka Yoritomo. Deost remembers little of his childhood, much on purpose - as his parents, Tempestro Azan and Lilthira Sz'llthi weren't always the best people. His uncle, and his aunt, Alhanya Renyarr however - are the ones who raised him, with ihs other uncle, Corishar. However, these three are not blood relatives at all. They were part of an adventuring group that retired and still remained close. But, all in all, most of his childhood was spent between Alhanya Renyarr's home, and Taka Yoritomo's home.

The Twist

Tempestro Deost, is his brother's name. And his name is Tempestro Starr. However, their brotherhood is much of estrangement, and in all honesty - Starr himself, is actually a clone that the wizard Fable produced. The wizard, whom had been such a kind and gentle person, and his abrupt shift into madness and stern iron-hand, prompted the creation. Most of the memories of Starr, himself, were nothing more then copies of the original, Deost. Their childhood's were similar, but after that, they diverge wildly. The original, Tempestro Deost, served on a galleon ship, and other more nefarious things. Starr? He became a mercenary, because of a memory.

Note: Deost - the nickname is actually Starr. They traded places so that the original is running the province of Tempestia and so that Starr could travel, and do as he wished, since having found Tempestia he felt no need for the political entanglements. He figured, it was his reward for having found a permanent home for the Gray Lancers.

The Gray Lancers

His father, Tempestro Azan, was a master swordsman of great repute, honor, and diligence and served with some others in a adventuring group. However, he was a harsh man, and had little skill with raising children. And was rather hard on Starr, and demeaning to him. It was because of this, and his training with a blade - that in anger, and rebellion he joined a mercenary company - instead of doing the noble and honorable thing and joining an adventuring group to help the common man.

In a fall out with his father, he and Azan dueled - and Starr won. Then ran away and joined the Gray Lancers.

It's there, he met Lochlain Kohler, Carrow, Loryll, and Corishar his uncle. At a youthful age - they all became fast friends, and had many campaigns into different wars. And, most notably - when they emerged in Myrken Wood - and fought in the Thessilane-New Dauntless War, that they gained some reputation, and repute - and a country of their own - Tempestia.

The Present

After the Thessilane-New Dauntless War, the mercenary retired and handed over Tempestia to his brother, Tempestro Deost, and moved to Myrken Wood under his brother's assumed name. It's there, he's set up a manor house, Esreaux Estate, and has been teaching a few Myrken locals how to fight.

Much of his other history, is shrouded in mystery, and he's not one to talk about his past much, if at all.
