Grand Court

The Grand Court of Myrken Wood is the civil and criminal court ultimately responsible for the administration of justice within Myrken Wood.

Meeting in session as the Judiciar and Grand Court of Myrken Wood, the Governor and Council oversee and deliver sentence on trials for serious crimes, and serve as a court of final arbitration for cases in which the ruling of the Petty Court has been challenged. The Grand Court also arbitrates on matters of land and property law.

The Grand Court is usually only called to rule on cases of murder, attempted murder, grand robbery, treason, or other such severe transgressions of the law. Lesser infractions are almost universally dealt with by the Petty Court.
