Silver Lake is a natural lake of some 352 acres, surrounded on several sides by woodland, and forms a link for traffic between the
East and
West Mavoiir Rivers. Five beaches provide access to the water, and a dock has been built for the anchoring of small boats. Silver Lake, named for the mountainous region to the south, has proven popular for swimming, boating, diving and fishing, and is open to transients and property owners alike. Borders
