Aleksei River arrived in Myrken Wood in midwinter, 211 AR. He didn't make much of an impression on anyone, just getting stranded in the winter snows at the Broken Dagger. Now, he's caught in the Myrken web.
Appearance
Aleksei is just shy of six feet in height, and has a lean athletic build. He looks like the sort of man that spends most of his time active. He has long blond hair, that he keeps mostly tied back out of his face, with a few stray locks dropping down in his face. His blue eyes can usually be described as warm and friendly, and are only made to seem larger by the gold rimmed spectacles that sit on the bridge of his nose. One of his more notable features is the large cloak he wears. Part cloak, part cape, and part mantle, he is never without it. It's white with red trim, and several geometric patterns are woven into the fabric on the back in gold. The white of the cloak just seems to make his skin all that much paler. He looks like he doesn't get out much. Most recently, he has taken to wearing a long blade at his waist. About four and a half feet long with a gently curved single sided blade, with a small circular crossguard and a long hilt for one or two hands.
Arrival in Myrken Wood
Aleksei showed up mid-snow storm in the twelfth month of the year 211 AR, sometime before midwinter. He was simply looking for a place to stay and looking to make a little coin for the winter. He approached Glenn Burnie for work in the tavern, right as Catch decided to attack the tavern. After assisting in subduing the crazed man, Glenn hired Aleksei on as a scholar to assist with the Catch Problem. He created a very well put together plan to push away part of the lake, but even as he started to get the materials together, the lake was drained mysteriously, and the horn was taken away. Aleksei was able to recover the statue from the bottom of the lake and take it to Glenn.
Most recently, Aleksei has been moved to help Agnieszka Kaczmarek with the problem of Aeryn Karolinger and the various demon possessed unfriendlies running around Myrken.
