- Over the last few days several of the wanted individuals have disappeared from Myrken, including the twin brothers Braddock and Bryce Larose (wanted for treason and as Thessilane traitors), and the Olwak siblings, Kals and Rhaena (wanted for questioning regarding their foreign trade activities)
- The hapless Bishop` was attacked in the evening by a group of vampires led by Magdelaena Valteri and her assassin, Vexis`. The unpredictable Sithis, who appeared at the scene somewhat coincidentally, and keen Master Tebrin, who was inside with Suede Roschen at the time, both annihilated a number of vampires, but to no avail - Bishop`, Magdelaena Valteri, and Vexis` all disappeared into the night winds, despite their best efforts. One of the leeches uttered Magdelaena's name before she died, and Sithis is attempting to scrounge up information on her whereabouts, wherever he can.
- An unexpected assassination attempt on Richard Aengus is made by hostile brownies; Richard Aengus and three of his four guards survive. Following this attack, Richard carries out a decree ordering that no fairy to leave New Hibera and that there be an increase to twelve guards outside The Tunnel.
- Despite the missives floating around town with Helstone's unmistakeable handwriting and signature, the barrister has not been seen in some time and cannot be located. Missing, too, is his guard, Rosamaria Ramirez. They haven't even stopped by to check out the ruins of Helstone's building at Baker Street, which was destroyed in a catapult attack by men wearing Brotherhood jackets.
- The ill-famed Bishop` had been spotted at the Broken Dagger, brawling with the vampiric members of the Requiem Curae--including Magdelaena Valteri's esteemed assassin, Vexis`. The hero was able to get away and freed Ravyn` from her captors in the process.
- Three people have been found dead, murdered in brutal ways. Each are accompanied by either Helstone's missive or the Council's - each claim that the entire Council are plotting with the Drow. The last claims that the Councilmen -are- drow, in disguise. All but one are signed as the deceased Quincy Randall. ['Traitorous Blood...]
- In an odd twist to the recent scandal, both Councilor Roschen and Interim Governor Guillaume have refuted many of the accusations by Mr. Helstone, stating that he made several rash errors in his missive due to severe amounts of stress. The decree address souch can be found '[here]'.
- The General and the Myrken Militia have voted to continue following the Council, instead of Helstone's missive. However, this has caused a fatal split, and the remaining Militia is but a shadow of it's former strength.
- Rumours of an assault upon Lothbury Estate run wild; speculation upon the condition of what remains is rampant. The Estate's gates are now barricaded from within; guards outside sternly discourage spectators from approaching. The condition of Interim Governor Guillaume remains unknown.
- There are rumors of a new airship seen in the sky, just north of the city wall near the edge of the woods. It appeared in the middle of the night, landed briefly, and flew off. [Source]
- Dozens of Myrken Wood citizens (shop owners, bartenders, socialites) recieved [letters] penned by Coriolanus Helstone detailing a vast list of traitors to the territoy of Myrken Wood and stating that there is now war with Thessilane and the people are not to trust any Thesslianean citizens.
- During a private discussion between Interim Governor Giscard Guillaume and Lord Hawkesbury, it is revealed that Hawkesbury has been named Minister of Myrken Wood, a royal delegatory position that serves as a liaison between Myrken Wood and the King of Trae Kelsa. Hawkesbury is the first to hold this role and title since the House of Wekslo lost the throne of Amasynia and the position was subsequently abandoned.
- The girls Alli and Reverie where snuck out of the gaol during the night by Lieutenant Bishop and Bryce Larose. The next day notices were posted announcing that the lieutenant was officially relieved of duties, and that Bryce was to be detained immediately if seen for questioning. That evening the healer was arrested by Agnieszka.
- Richard Aengus of New Hibera seeks to restore fairy/human relations following the kidnapping of his queen, Deidre.
- Thadius Dhrin, long thought to be dead, returns to the Order of the All. During a secret ceremony, Okulari, Brother Prime, and Dhrin introduce a "man" to the congregation that they say is their God in the flesh.
- Caravans that were sent from neighboring regions and towns to deliver much-needed supplies to the populace of Myrken Town have started disappearing in a rash of attacks.. leaving nothing but empty wagons and dead guards behind. ([Message Board Reference])
- A man resembling the late Governor Altias Bromn in more ways than one has turned up in town, calling himself Okulari and believing himself to be a scholar from Derry.
- Captain Kerrak has absconded for parts unknown, taking twenty Brotherhood men with him and leaving command to his Lieutenant, Maxwell Bishop. Many rumors currently surround his exit.
- Coriolanus Helstone made an impassioned speech in the town square to rally the people against the drow threat, at which the large sword at the outskirts activated once more, spilling red light on the assemblage and asking some very hard questions.
- Lord Hawkesbury arrives in Myrkentown. After inspection of Amesbury Estate and finding it in a state of disrepair, the Baron unhappily takes up temporary residence in the Broken Dagger.
- The Nightmare Company struck the Olsmith farm on the outskirts of Myrkentown; the five members of the family were killed and their house burned. The presence of Choss, Daffodil and their three prisoners Kals, Rhaena, and Bryce closer to town, however, allowed a company of Brotherhood soldiers commanded by Maxwell Bishop to assist in their rescue. During the scuffle, Daffodil was shot by a crossbow belonging to Agnieszka, and Choss escaped.
- Ariane Carnath-Emory is confined to the Rememdium, following a battle in the Broken Dagger tavern with small Fawn Mourning.
